Strawberry Sauce

16 oz. fresh strawberries, unsweetened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
Cook all ingredients over medium heat until sugar dissolves, bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 3 minutes. If desired, chill before serving.
