Wheat-free Meatballs

2 lb. Ground beef
2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
fresh ground pepper, about 5-10 cracks
1/4 c. cream or half & half (I used 3/4 c. half & half it was too much! -- 1/8 c. last time was too little!)
3-4 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
Garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Mix all ingredients including a dash of garlic powder. Divide into 8 parts and shape into balls (about 2-1/2 inches); sprinkle tops with more garlic powder. Bake on greased cookie sheet in 400ºF oven for 20 to 25 minutes. 4 on an oven-safe plate, top with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and bake until cheese is melted.
