From the kitchen of: Dawn Corbin

4 c. quick oats
1 c. wheat germ
1 c. grated coconut
1-2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. honey
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/2 c. raw nuts, seeds, or raisins
1/2 c. dromedary chopped dates

In large bowl mix dry ingredients, set aside. In sauce pan combine oil, honey, & vanilla, warm over low heat. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until all particles are well coated. Add nuts (if using) and stir again. Spread into low long pan (like roaster) that has been greased. Bake at 300°F for 1/2 hour, or 250°F for 1 hour. Stir occasionally, when done add raisins or dried fruit. When cooled, store in air tight container.
