Chocolate Peanut Butter Crispy Squares

From the kitchen of: Dawn Corbin

1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
6 c. crispy rice cereal
1 c. milk chocolate morsels

Bring corn syrup and sugar to low boil, stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter,add rice cereal. Spread into buttered 13 X 9" cake pan. With buttered hands press down firmly. Melt chocolate chips in microwave until smooth. Spread over crispy rice cereal mixture. Allow to cool completely before cutting. Store in air tight container.
