From the kitchen of Alicia Wingren
Makes 1 serving or enough for one Kalbi Short Ribs
Multiply to meet the need
1 Pear, peeled, cored, chopped finely
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp coconut oil
2 Tbsp brown sugar
the zest of 1/2 orange
the juice of 1/2 orange
1x1" piece ginger root, grated

Melt butter and oil in small saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped pear, orange zest, juice, and grated ginger. Simmer until combined and taste. Adjust ingredients as needed. Use to top ice cream, pancakes, or for Kalbi Marinade.
