From the kitchen of: Dawn Corbin
2 c. uncooked macaroni
2 c. grated sharp cheese (1/2 lb.)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter & paprika
wheat germ optional

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook macaroni according to pkg directions, drain and set aside. Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. In separate bowl, mix flour, salt, mustard & pepper. In casserole dish layer half of macaroni and half of cheese, sprinkle with half of flour mixture, repeat. Pour milk over this... dot the top with butter cut in small pieces, sprinkle with wheat germ or cracker crumbs if desired. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown on top. Goes well with ham or bacon, and pickled beets or green beans.
