Ingredients
1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
4 Eggs
1 - 29 oz can of pumpkin
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk (Small can)
1 cup reserved cake mix
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 ° F.
Measure 1 c. of cake mix out and set aside.
To rest of cake mix add 1 egg and melted margarine. Press this into 9X13 inch ungreased baking pan.
In a bowl mix pumpkin , 3 eggs , cinnamon, sugar & milk , blend well, like for pumpkin pie. pour over cake mix.
Combine until crumbly the 1 c. reseved cake mix, ½ c. sugar, ¼ c. margarine and ½ c. nuts.
Sprinkle over pumpkin. Bake for 1 hour. or till tooth pick comes out clean.
NOTES: have added ½ tsp. nutmeg to pumpkin.
