2.5 lb ham<br>
1/2 c. maple syrup<br>
2 tsp spicy brown mustard<br>
1 bottle beer<br>
1/2 onion, cut into 1/8s<br>
1 apple, cut into 1/8s<br>
1 carrot, cut into large pieces<br>
1/8 tsp. cloves<br>
1/4 tsp. [http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzeys/p-penzeysapple.html Penzys apple-pie spice] (or similar)<br>
1/4 tsp. coriander<br>

Put everything into slow cooker with the ham on top.<br>
Cook time: 2 hours on high, or 8 hours on low<br>
Baste occasionally<br>
